Our goal is to provide you with great products at great prices. We want you to be pleased with your purchase. The following information is provided to clarify our policies.
Wholesale Terms Of Sale
- PAYMENT TERMS
- Payment in full is required prior to release of the merchandise to you or your delivery company.
- TAXES
- Nadeau is open to the trade only. Eligible resellers need to supply a copy of their State Resale License and complete a Tax Exemption Form specifically stating the furniture being bought is for resale.
- SURCHARGE
- A surcharge of 15% will be applied to the invoice total of any non-stocking dealer.
- CANCELLATIONS / EXCHANGES / RETURNS
- All sales are final. There is no refund, cancellation, return, exchange or credit of the order or payment except as detailed in DAMAGES/DEFECTS below.
- SPECIAL ORDERS
- All special orders require a minimum initial payment of 50% of the total order amount. Some special orders may require payment in full at time of placement. When the furniture arrives at our designated warehouse, final payment is due in full immediately. Payment in full is required prior to release of the merchandise to you or your delivery company.
- ESTIMATED ARRIVAL TIME
- We do our best to assure your special order arrives within the estimated arrival period. Most items will be available in twelve to sixteen weeks. Factory and shipping schedules can change without notice; therefore, delivery times indicated are an estimate and not guaranteed. Since these delivery schedules are estimates, we cannot offer any monetary compensation, order cancellation or deposit refunds. When ordering items sourced from multiple countries, you need to arrange for immediate pick-up or delivery upon each shipment's arrival. We cannot store items while waiting for other shipments to arrive.
- COLOR / FINISH / DIMENSIONS
- We do our best to ensure the product you receive matches your order, however all illustrations, dimensions, pictures, wood or fabric samples are approximations. Due to the uniqueness of some products -color, finish, grain, fabric, and dye may vary on each item. Irregularities and variations in the color and texture are characteristic in these product types. This adds to its natural beauty and should not be considered as defective. Continual exposure to light and temperature changes will affect the wear of the merchandise.
- DELIVERY
- Delivery is not included in your purchase price, nor do we provide or offer delivery of your merchandise to your facility. We can suggest a delivery service for you to contract with for delivery of your furniture. We will attempt to help you in any way with whatever method of delivery you select, but please be aware that this transaction is between you and the delivery company. In the unlikely event of any damage or delays in your delivery, you will need to handle it directly with the company with whom you contracted. We do not supply any packing or hold-downs. We are not responsible should damage occur while you load your vehicle. Nadeau staff may be available to assist but assume no responsibility or liability.
- RECEIPTS
- Items will not be released for pick-up or delivery without a paid receipt. Nadeau is not responsible for any lost or stolen receipt.
- WARRANTY
- Nadeau does not warranty any merchandise. Nadeau makes no statement of warranty, agreements or representations, express or implied, except as stated in writing. Please take ample time for proper inspection at the time you receive the merchandise. Claims for visible damage must be made at that time. There will be no adjustments thereafter.
- DAMAGE / DEFECTS
- Please notify us within three days of noticing any damage not visible at time of accepting the merchandise. If you, or your delivery company, damage it, it is yourresponsibility to handle the repair or replacement. Any delivery for merchandise being returned to us is at your expense. You are responsible for the cost of any rejected or partially rejected delivery.
- SIZE LIMITATIONS
- You are responsible for any size limitations or constraints in receiving your merchandise. Please be conscious of passages (i.e. stairwells, doorways, elevators, vehicles), which may cause a problem for you or your delivery company.
- STORAGE
- Orders not picked up or remaining undelivered for more than 5 business days from the date of purchase or after you have been notified of arrival are subject to a 1.5% per day storage fee. Merchandise not picked up after 30 calendar days will be considered abandoned and will be resold. In addition, any deposit will be forfeited.
- CREDIT MEMO
- Warehouse credits expire six months from the date of issuance.
- ENFORCEMENT
- If Nadeau has to commence any proceedings to enforce the terms hereof; you shall pay all reasonable attorneys fees in addition to court costs. The title to the merchandise shall remain with Nadeau until the entire amount due has been paid in full. If we receive a returned check or stop payment check, you will be charged $25, plus all ensuing amounts due become payable in cash or cashiers check.
- FINAL APPROVAL
- All sales orders are subject to final approval and acceptance by Nadeau's management.
